I think it says quite a lot about her that she's willing to fuck off and leave her kids over Christmas
I'd just let her get on with it and make sure the kids have a great time which will mean not making a big thing out of her not being there.

Why is she selfish for wanting a few days away just her and her bloke?
Ok, a bit selfish for fucking the best mate, but we've all done it... haven't we?

The paddy will have some of your medicine eventually. He'll subconsciously know already she's capable of deceit and a bit on the side..and that will eat him up.
Seems a proper selfish cunt this woman..but plenty about I'm afraid.

Better to just leaving expecting a good hiding. For the rest of his life he won't know which shoulder to look over.

Why is is that (some - you know who you are) posters want to gossip on, like a troop of fat, menopausal old washerwomen, about the irrelevant bits of this subject. Can't wait for your fix of EastEnders?
Steve's got an unexpected bonus of more time with his kids. Fuck the reason's why, him & his kids have got a result.

Steve
So, is Ireland boyfriend the one she left you for, or has she moved onto someone else after your mate?

So what is people's problem with this?
That she wants a few days away or that it is Christmas?

what mother would ever decide that
One who is loved up on cock! Clearly worrying more about her new relationship than her kids at the moment.
Kids in the long run will remember who was there for them and when, just be a great Dad and make use of the extra time you have with the kids... If the mother calls on Christmas Day to chat with them then don't answer it straight away, leave it an hour and she will realise what a c##t she has been.

Steve, if you can't understand it then how will kids??
Refer to:
stewie griffin 2:52 Tue Sep 8
It's not your job to explain why she is not with them at Xmas. It's hers. If they ask then just tell them to ask her when she gets back.
Your job is to make sure you and your kids have the best fucking xmas ever!

Gruesome Dump 9:43 Tue Sep 8
I had to go down that path several times. Each time we went to court, she promised (PROMISED) it would never happen again and, each time, on the very first scheduled day I was due to have my kids "something came up" and she wouldn't either let me collect them or bring them to me.
After the 3rd or 4th instance she was informed prison was an option the courts may very well consider should it happen again and advised to make sure nothing within her power prevents the exchanges going ahead.
That seemed to do the trick on that front although she must have been seething at such loss of her power as my kid's mother (how DARE I divorce HER!! But the other way's quite reasonable. Expected as a family tradition even).
After about 6 months of this she decided to "dump" the kids on me (her loss): I think she simply couldn't hack them coming back happy and looking forward to the next time with me.

Her loss, your gain.
Kids tend to remember stuff like this.
Don't let it bother you.

Women are solipsistic and everything revolves around them subconsciously. They have an ability to convince themselves that they are in the right always. Her decision to leave the kids with you, in her mind, would be a bonus for you and she's being a great woman. We are fcked up but evolution has made us this way my friend.

Normally no 'winners' in this type of situation...... She may be thinking that a few days away on a jolly is a result but suspect that when she wakes up christmas morning without her kids.......

Bruuuunnnooo I have never said the issue is I don't see my kids. I see them as often as I can, 2-3-4 times a week. As said my main issue is the choosing of a man over her kids, just doesn't compute in my brain and as said before if it was me I would be called every single name under the sun, told I'm a bad father and face a custody battle. In my opinion she needs her head examined for even thinking let alone choosing to spend Xmas away from the kids. As others have said though all I can do is make it the best one for the kids, they have got me and my side of the family, her loss is my huge gain.
